MSA ACCOUNTABILITY SYSTEM
Accountability is key to every firefighter's safety on a fire scene. You simply can't afford not to have the very best telemetry technology available. MSA's Accountability System technology combines software with a high-performance radio module and the field-proven technology of MSA's ICM TxR Integrated PASS. Add the Accountability System to MSA's FireHawk M7 Air Mask, and you'll be wearing the best integrated SCBA accountability system available. Each MSA base station can monitor up to 50 firefighters; multiple base stations can be used with a single computer. The Accountability System transmits firefighter name, team assignment, cylinder pressure, service-time remaining, PASS alarms (motion or manual), thermal alarms, battery status,radio connectivity, and evacuation acknowledgement to incident command.
MSA CLEARCOMMAND COMMUNICATIONS
MSA's ClearCommand Communication System is designed specifically to meet firefighters' modern communication needs. The ClearCommand System is available in two versions: amplifier, and amplifier with radio interface, allowing firefighting teams to be properly fitted for the job at hand. Innovative design helps to reduce expenses via its shared-use amplifier, reducing individual issue equipment. ClearCommand Systems feature an internally-mounted microphone coupled with a large diameter (2") amplifier speaker for optimal clarity and volume. Using a patented circuit design, the system delivers over twice the volume of a facepiece alone. Mounted in an out- of-the -way position, the ClearCommand System does not block vision or mechanical communication. The Ultra Elite Facepiece's mechanical voicemitter still functions fully with the system installed. The radio interface version features the same amplifier as the amp -only version, combined with an ear-speaker for incoming radio messages, and a push-to-talk assembly for interface with over 100 radio models. Also, the push-to -talk assembly features a front-mounted button for easy use inside HazMat suits, and a lapel mic for use without a facepiece.
MSA EXTENDAIRE I SYSTEM
MSA's ExtendAire Systems are Emergency Breathing Supply System (EBSS) accessories that use intermediate pressure air to provide firefighters with a source of emergency breathing air. The ExtendAire system allows firefighters to quickly and easily connect to and breathe from a fellow firefighter's air cylinder. ExtendAire Systems are tightly integrated with the SCBA to provide unrestricted mobility and easy access during critical situations. The system uses a quick connect with an integrated check valve that prevents the breathing air pathway from being contaminated by ambient air. The ExtendAire I System is integrated to the Firehawk Second Stage Regulator's intermediate pressure line. Coupling the system's 40-inch rescue hose between SCBA, provides both firefighters with intermediate pressure air for emergency escape.

The system uses a quick connect with an integrated check valve that prevents the breathing air pathway from being contaminated by ambient air. MSA's new ExtendAire II System offers an integrated rescue hose used with the PR14' First-Stage Regulator that features both male and female quick-connect fittings. The system is stowed in a waist pouch that mounts on the carrier assembly and is designed to prevent snagging and accidental opening. The ExtendAire II System also connects to the ExtendAire I System for additional system flexibility.
MSA FIREHAWK M7XT SCBA
MSA's FireHawk M7XT Air Mask represents a true technological achievement in critical firefighter protection. As firefighters determined the safety requirements required to meet NFPA 1981 and 1982 2013-edition standards, MSA engineering teams began to design solutions. The FireHawk M7XT Air Mask, with its life-safety design components is built upon a modular air mask platform, and exceeds NFPA 2013 requirements. Through NFPA, firefighters strive to improve the durability and performance of their SCBA and PASS devices. It's no different with the 2013 edition of NFPA 1981 and 1982 NFPA standards for self-contained breathing apparatus and personal alert safety systems (PASS). These revisions call for a minimum low pressure alarm set point of 33% cylinder operating pressure remaining, improved facepiece lens radiant heat performance, 500Â° F heat and flame exposure, and standardized PASS device alarm sound patterns. In addition, NFPA has raised the bar on voice communication capability, now requiring measurable, minimum Sound Transmission Index (STI) scores for both mechanical and electronic communications.

The MSA G1 SCBA Integrated Thermal Imaging Camera provides EVERY firefighter the ability to see in dark and smoke filled environments, aiding in the speed and effectiveness of your operation from the initial 360, to working the fire, overhaul and rescue. This sight is provided through a Thermal Imaging Camera that is integrated into the G1 SCBA Control Module, eliminating the need to carry an addition piece of bulky equipment and the concern of an additional snag hazard.
MSA QUICK-FILL SYSTEM
The Quick-Fill System is simply a system that allows for rapid transfer of air from a high-pressure source into a cylinder containing less pressure. This air transfer is based upon one of the oldest and most fundamental laws of physics: Boyle's Gas Law. This law demonstrates that when two gas sources of different pressures are connected, they seek to equalize at the same pressure. For example, when an air cylinder pressurized to 2000 psig is connected to an air cylinder of the same size pressurized to 1000 psig, the two cylinders will quickly equalize at 1500 psig each. The patented Quick-Fill System lets MSA Air Mask users refill and transfill air cylinders while the SCBA is worn, without removing the air cylinder - even in IDLH atmospheres.
MSA RESCUEAIRE II PORTABLE AIR-SUPPLY SYSTEM
MSA's RescueAire II Portable Air-Supply System provides easy-to-use, portable, and compact emergency breathing air. Designed for Rapid Intervention Teams (RITs), whose missions are to rescue downed first responders and others requiring assistance, the RescueAire II System is a lightweight and rapid solution for your team. The RescueAire II Portable Air-Supply System is compatible with all of your FireHawk MMR Air Masks, which also include the FireHawk M7 Air Mask. This feature-packed system consists of flame-and heat-resistant carrying harness with adjustable Nomex/Kevlar shoulder strap, Audi-Larm Audible Alarm low-pressure warning device, pressure-reducing regulator, second-stage mask-mounted regulator, 36" Quick-Fill System EBS connection, and ExtendAire System EBS connection. RescueAire II Portable Air-Supply System is available in both low-pressure (2216 psig) and high-pressure (4500 psig) versions. An optional-use shoulder strap is also provided for hands-free carrying.
